SYSTEMS COACHING
“We are created, not for isolation, but for relationships. At heart, we are not a thousand points of separated light but, rather, part of a larger brightness. Within organizations, caring and committed relationships are not a luxury. They are a necessity.” – D. Johnson and F. Johnson
Systems Coaching is cutting edge coaching that explores the interrelationships of the team as a whole. It then focuses on leveraging strengths, resolving recurring issues and improving communication thereby increasing productivity and positivity for sustainable results.
Every organization is a system, a system of individuals and teams that are trying to pull together and work toward success. Within every organization system are groups of subsystems, every team is its own system and within every team there are smaller subsystems operating.
Think about a car. What you see initially is the shape and colour of a completed machine. What you don’t see is all the small machines within the larger machine that have to work together so that when you put the key in the ignition it starts, when you put the gear shift into D it will move forward, when you put your foot on the brake it will stop. Our initial perspective of the car is the visual of the entire machine (whole system), our experience with the car is how well all the smaller machines (subsystems) are operating together. If one of the subsystems is not performing it affects the overall operation of the whole system.
Because of the self-regulating nature of systems, a change in one area of the system induces change in the rest of the system.

- What are your customers and employees experiencing with your system?
- Are they having the experience you would like them to have?
- What are the gaps?
- What would your organization look like if you were addressing the gaps?
- How would that affect your customers and employees experience?
- How would that affect your bottom line?
